7th Workshop on Metallization & Interconnection for Crystalline Silicon Solar Cells

For the 7th time, industry and academic experts and specialists from all over the world discussed the latest status, trends and new directions in the field of metallization and interconnection for crystalline silicon solar cells on October 23rd and 24th, 2017, in Constance, Germany. This time, about 150 participants from 17 countries discussed results of 35 presentations, participated in panel discussions, and contributed to a market place session on the basis of poster presentations. As in previous editions lots of room was available for discussions and networking during the two day program and social events including, reception and workshop dinner.

The presentations are available on this website in pdf format. The peer reviewed papers, six in total, are available on the SSNR website (https://www.ssrn.com/link/7th-Workshop-Metallization.html). We thank the members of the scientific committee for the help with the peer-reviewing process.

A summary of the workshop content (https://dx.doi.org/10.2139/ssrn.3151953) is also included. After the 7th workshop, participants were asked to fill a survey about their views on the future of metallization and interconnection. Results of this 7th edition survey are given and discussed together with results from previous editions (http://dx.doi.org/10.2139/ssrn.3152250).

The organizers wish to thank again the sponsors and supporters for their contributions and for making this workshop possible.
